1. Purpose of This Policy
The purpose of this Compliance Policy is to:
- Protect BlushRooms Digital Ltd from legal, financial and regulatory risk
- Ensure the platform complies with UK law and all relevant regulations
- Maintain Stripe and payment processor compliance
- Ensure robust age verification and content safety
- Provide a clear framework for moderation and reporting
- Ensure BlushRooms operates strictly as a digital-only content platform
This policy applies to:
- Content Creators
- Members
- Staff
- Contractors (including developers)
- Anyone using or accessing the BlushRooms platform
2. Platform Classification (Critical Legal Position)
BlushRooms is classified as a:
Digital Media Sharing Platform
BlushRooms:
- Provides digital media services only
- Does NOT facilitate, encourage, or arrange in-person meetings
- Does NOT process payments for companionship or offline activity
- Does NOT participate in or profit from any real-world interactions
Any offline communication or meeting between adults occurs entirely outside BlushRooms and is not supported, endorsed or arranged by the platform.
This classification protects BlushRooms under:
- UK intermediary platform protections
- Payment processor guidelines
- The Digital Economy Act
- The Online Safety Act
- Local and international sex-work regulations
3. Age Verification Requirements
BlushRooms enforces strict 18+ verification for:
- All Content Creators
- All Members accessing digital media
- All individuals appearing in uploaded content
Official Age Verification Providers
BlushRooms uses:
- AgeChecked for identity & age verification
- Stripe as secondary age verification (card check)
Under no circumstances will BlushRooms allow:
- Minors
- Individuals appearing to be minors
- Anyone uploading content featuring minors
- ID or verification bypassing
Verified users may display age verification badges.
4. Prohibited Content
The following are strictly banned and result in permanent removal:
Illegal or Dangerous Material
- Minors or any individual appearing under 18
- Non-consensual or coerced acts
- Trafficking, exploitation, or forced activity
- Threats, violence or harassment
- Dangerous acts causing harm
Non-consensual or Misleading Content
- Deepfakes of real individuals
- Stolen or pirated content
- Content uploaded without consent of every participant
Financial or Fraudulent Activity
- Attempts to process offline meet payments using tokens
- Fraud, chargeback abuse, or impersonation
- Scams or phishing attempts
BlushRooms maintains full cooperation with law enforcement when required.
5. Messaging & Communication Compliance
All messaging within BlushRooms is digital-only
Messaging may NOT be used to facilitate illegal activity
Messaging logs may be reviewed in cases of:
- Abuse reports
- Fraud
- Safety investigations
- Legal obligations
BlushRooms may cooperate with authorities where legally required
Creators may display external contact details (WhatsApp etc.). These communications are not monitored by BlushRooms.
6. Companionship Tag Compliance
BlushRooms allows Creators to optionally add:
"Provides Companionship"
To comply with UK law and Stripe policies:
Companionship is defined as:
"Creator-defined personal or adult interaction that occurs online or digitally such as messaging, virtual conversation, roleplay, digital intimacy or fan interaction."
Companionship does NOT imply:
- In-person meetings
- Sexual services
- Escorting
- Incall/outcall
- Physical interaction
Any suggestion otherwise results in moderation action.
7. Payments & Token Compliance
BlushRooms uses:
- Stripe Connect (for payouts)
- Token system (for digital content)
Tokens must NOT be used for:
- In-person meetings
- Sexual services
- Offline activities
- Real-world gifts
- Financial arrangements outside the platform
Credit Expiry
Credits expire after 12 months of inactivity and become property of BlushRooms Digital Ltd.
Refunds follow regulated digital-content refund standards.
8. Moderation Policy
BlushRooms maintains a mixed:
- Automated (AI-assisted)
- Manual review
- User-report driven
moderation approach.
Moderators may review:
- Uploaded content
- Reported messages
- Suspicious interactions
- Profile information
- Suspicious changes to creator names/locations
Moderation Priorities:
- Protection of minors
- Prevention of trafficking
- Prevention of coercion
- Prevention of abuse or threats
- Prevention of illegal content
- Prevention of platform misuse (e.g., arranging meets)
- Maintaining Stripe compliance
- Maintaining general platform safety
Repeat violations result in permanent account bans.
9. Staff & Contractor Access Controls
To comply with data protection and platform safety:
Access is limited by strict role-based permissions:
- Developers see only technical data required
- Moderators see only data required for moderation
- Payment data is accessed only via Stripe dashboards
- Age verification decisions are accessed only as required
Staff must:
- Use company-approved devices
- Use strong passwords
- Use MFA (multi-factor authentication)
- Follow data retention and deletion standards
- Report suspicious accounts to platform leadership
Cosmin or any future developer must have contractually limited access.
10. Reporting, Safety & Escalation System
Members and Creators may report:
- Abuse
- Harassment
- Underage content
- Impersonation
- Fraud
- Safety concerns
- Boundary violations
- Attempts to use the platform for offline services
Reports trigger immediate review.
Severe cases are escalated to:
- Platform leadership
- Age verification partner
- Stripe (fraud/chargebacks)
- Law enforcement where required
BlushRooms keeps moderation logs for 5 years for compliance.
11. Law Enforcement & Legal Requests
BlushRooms cooperates with:
- UK Police
- NCA
- HMRC (financial data only)
- Courts or warrants
- AgeChecked compliance teams
- Stripe compliance teams
We only disclose:
- What is legally required
- What is proportionate
- What is explicitly requested under lawful authority
We do not voluntarily provide data without cause.
12. Data Retention & Deletion
BlushRooms deletes or anonymises data based on:
- GDPR obligations
- Contractual obligations
- Safety/legal requirements
- Stripe audit requirements
- HMRC tax law (6-year retention)
Users may request account deletion (except where restricted by ongoing investigations).
13. Compliance with Payment Processors
To maintain payment processing access:
BlushRooms adheres to:
- Stripe's Adult Content Policies
- Stripe's Prohibited Business List
- Visa & Mastercard rules
- High-risk merchant compliance standards
BlushRooms:
- Processes digital-only payments
- Does NOT process payments for companionship
- Maintains age verification and content logs
- Cooperates with Stripe investigations
- Avoids escorting classifications
This protects BR from:
- Merchant account suspension
- Frozen funds
- Blacklisting
- Loss of payouts
14. Enforcement & Consequences
Violation of this Compliance Policy may result in:
- Content removal
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account ban
- Payout holds
- Legal reporting
- Stripe account suspension
- Cooperation with authorities
We reserve the right to terminate any account that compromises platform safety.
15. Updates to This Policy
This policy may be amended periodically to reflect:
- Changes in law
- Payment processor requirements
- New platform features
- Safety considerations
We will notify users of major policy updates.
